Grohol’s also thought by some to be one of the people behind Winerlog, although I’ve never seen any evidence.

Judging by your quote, I figured this would be another tired “bash weblogging because it’s popular” article a la Suck (remember Suck? I always hated those smartass dorks.). Why weblog? It ain’t for the money (what money?). It ain’t for the fame. It’s a constant challenge to keep it fresh. I weblog out of need to say shit I couldn’t get away with saying in real life. Sure, only a dozen or so people read it, but I like the idea that anyone with a internet connection, from Andorra to Zimbabwe can read it if they are so inclined.

why weblog? coz it’s fun. coz you get to make new friends.
