It’s strange – up until the mid-90s I was still quite wistful over ‘The Young Ones’, believing to be one of the Beeb’s best comedy moments ever. Then I saw a repeat of it in about 1996 or something, and suddenly it seemed the unfunniest thing in the universe. And now, just recently, I’ve been getting a bit wistful for it again – hell, it’s nearly TWENTY years ago. Sob.
